Andy B came home from Memphis, poured two decades of music industry experience into an Elvis show, and was soon competing at the Ultimate Elvis competition in Parkes. Tribute artist is the preferred term here, not impersonator: the aim is getting every song as close to the original as possible, right through to the 68 Comeback Special arrangements. Shows run a minimum of two hours, solo or as a duo, with plenty of audience participation, props to dress the room, and lights and staging supplied. Give it power and shelter from the weather, and the night heads back to the 50s, 60s and 70s.
