Angie Narayan sings soul, and the Brisbane scene has known it for a long time. She was a top 12 finalist on Australian Idol, where she picked up the nickname Soul Mama, and she has since supported Brian McKnight, Renee Geyer, John Paul Young, Vanessa Amorosi, Paulini and Human Nature. The vocal reference points people reach for are Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, which tells you where the material sits. Angiesoul is available as a duo and scales all the way up to a ten piece band. Parties, weddings, conferences and corporate events.
