The act
Blues, Latin jazz and dance tunes, mostly standards and familiar hits, but arranged in ways that don't go where you expect. The Anna Weaving Collective works as anything from three to five players depending on how much room and volume the space can take. Anna Weaving trained classically, sings and plays several instruments, and has released records in Europe and worked with Australian jazz players including Jan Rutherford, Fiona Lugg and Jonathan Zwartz. Miki plays keyboards and has worked across music scenes around the world. Holding the low end is Georges, a Berklee graduate who has played bass across most genres here and overseas.
