Chris studied contemporary music at WAAPA and has spent eight years playing Perth venues and weddings; Janece is entirely self-taught and has been gigging around the city for twelve. Together they're Atmosphere Duo, two smooth voices and guitar, playing covers that get gently reworked rather than copied note for note: Big Jet Plane, Georgia on My Mind, Here Comes the Sun, Can't Help Falling in Love. The pairing suits ceremonies, venues and long relaxed afternoons. A wireless, battery powered setup is available, which helps when the ceremony spot is nowhere near a power point.

What to expect
Two voices that have logged serious hours in Perth, brought together. Chris sings and plays guitar with a soulful, laid back touch, having finished a Bachelor of Contemporary Music at WAAPA and then spent eight years across venues and weddings around the city. Janece never had a lesson, taught herself the lot, and has twelve years of venues, functions and weddings behind her, with vocals that sit smooth but come forward when they need to. What you get is harmony singing and covers played with a twist on them, plenty of soul, and a relaxed feel aimed at connecting with the room rather than performing at it.
