Sally sings, Yuri plays guitar, and the result is unhurried jazz and blues with the volume down. Sally has performed across Australasia, including long residencies fronting her own lounge band in five star hotels through Asia. Yuri, born in Indonesia, brings an R&B groove to the jazz harmony and has played several international jazz festivals. The set is full of standards done their own way: Angel Eyes, Misty, Nature Boy, Stormy Monday, Besame Mucho, People Get Ready, Folsom Prison Blues, Summertime. One to three 40-minute sets. They carry their own PA and lights, and travel to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Public liability insurance held.

Bluesy jazz sung by a woman who knows how to hold a note back, with acoustic guitar underneath doing the same. It's all acoustic and it stays laid back. Nobody has to raise their voice to talk over it, which is the whole point of booking a duo like this for a dinner or a function. Sophisticated without being stiff about it.
Access to power is preferred, though it isn't essential, which opens up a garden or a spot away from the building. They bring their own PA and their own lights, so there's nothing for you to hire, borrow or work out beforehand. Being an acoustic duo, the footprint is small. A corner of the room does it.

Bookings are built around 40 minute sets, one, two or three of them depending on how long you need music for. They're based in Brisbane and will travel to the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
