Backroom Vegas
The act
Backroom Vegas rehearse the way they perform, which is a decent sign in a covers band. The lineup is Stu Vandersteen on drums, Shaun Page on bass and backing vocals, Kenny Govus on guitar and vocals, and Paul Vercoe on lead vocals and keytar. Book them as a four piece, or as a three piece when the room is smaller. For weddings they scale the other way too, from acoustic guitar and vocals for the ceremony through a funky acoustic trio to a full rock reception band, with the set list built around what you actually want played. They work Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, the hinterland, the Gold Coast and down to Byron Bay.
