The act
The idea behind Big Kahuna is simple. Every song is one your guests will recognise inside the first few bars, and then they'll either sing it or dance to it. Six decades of classic rock, over a hundred songs, played the way people remember the records. Five musicians, all of them singing, everything performed live with nothing on tape. They typically run three or four sets of about forty minutes, roughly fourteen songs each. Melbourne based, and they bring their own gear, so a stage big enough for five is the whole requirement.

Good to know
What to expect
Every song in the set is one your guests will place inside the first bar or two, and then they'll either sing along or get up. Big Kahuna play them as recorded, so you're not sitting through reinvented versions of songs people came to hear. Nothing is on backing track. Five musicians, all of it live, all of them singing. It's a straightforward proposition and it's why the dance floor fills early rather than at eleven o'clock.
On the day
They arrive with all their own equipment, so nothing needs hiring in. All they need at your end is a stage or performance area big enough to hold five musicians and their gear comfortably. Give them room to move and that's the requirement met.
