Winery lunches and brewery afternoons are the natural habitat here. Bourbon & Steel are Cam and Trev, two seasoned Mornington Peninsula musicians with decades of pub, club and festival playing around Melbourne and Gippsland between them. Together they cover the 60s through to the 2000s on guitar and vocals, starting bluesy and easygoing, Blackbird and Wild World territory, and building to a foot-tapping finish. It suits all ages without demanding the room's full attention. The standard booking is three 45 minute sets, and they can supply a PA if the venue doesn't have one.

Good to know
What to expect
Cam and Trev have between them somewhere near forty years of pubs, clubs and festivals across Melbourne, Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula, and Bourbon & Steel is what that experience settles into. Bluesy vocals, acoustic guitar, a bit of percussion behind it, and a nostalgic run of songs from the 1960s through the 2000s. It suits a lunch, an afternoon or an early dinner crowd best. All ages find something they know, and nobody has to shout over it.
On the day
The standard Bourbon & Steel booking is three sets of 45 minutes using the venue's in-house PA, with refreshments for the two of them. Power supply is the one thing that has to be there. Where a venue has no PA of its own, they can supply and set up their own instead. Flag that in your enquiry so it's arranged rather than discovered on the day.
