The act
Take the big hits of the 90s and 2000s, then add a horn section. Brass Party is a Perth function and wedding band built on hard funk grooves, big brass lines and plenty of low end, so familiar songs come out sounding larger than the originals. Sets run 50 minutes each, up to four in a night, with the band supplying background music in the breaks so the room never goes quiet. They'll travel outside the Perth metro area by arrangement. On the practical side, they need a flat 2 by 4 metre space, access to power, and shelter for the gear if the weather turns.

Good to know
What to expect
Fifty minute sets, and you can book anywhere up to four of them across a night. Between sets the band keeps background music running, so the room does not drop into silence while everyone gets a drink. What comes out of those sets is nineties and two thousands material with brass over the top and serious low end underneath, which is why the familiar songs sound bigger live than the versions people know. They will head beyond the Perth metro area if your venue is further out, arranged when you enquire.
On the day
Brass Party need a flat area of at least 2 by 4 metres and access to power. Cover over the top is not optional, since the electrical gear and the instruments both suffer in weather. And if they're playing outdoors during daylight, shade may be needed as well. Sun on a stage does horrible things to tuning and to horn players alike.
