Guitarist Gavin Libotte, of Latin jazz fusion band Urban Gypsies, and vocalist Niyati Libotte, whose singing was sharpened in the jazz rooms of France, are the centre of Breakfast at Tiffany's. What comes out of that pairing is elegant and acoustic: Hollywood romance, Parisian jazz age cool, timeless classics, modern songs reworked so they suit a room where people are talking. Once the night needs weight behind it, or dancing, the pair bring in extras: cello, double bass, electric bass, percussion, violin, saxophone, accordion, even a live and DJ jam. Sydney based, and they travel to wherever the event is.
