Burger Queen turns up on time and reads what the room actually needs, which means a club crowd and a backyard birthday get handled differently. Between sets she's out among the guests, happy to chat and pose for photos rather than disappearing backstage. It's a friendly act. Selfies are practically expected.
A wireless mic and a speaker that takes Bluetooth, AUX or USB. Somewhere secure to store bags and get changed, ideally with a bathroom close by, plus parking at the venue. Nothing exotic, but the change room is a genuine requirement rather than a nice to have. If your event is outside Sydney, mention where it is when you enquire so travel can be worked out properly.
