Every note is played live. Nothing is mimed and nothing is pressed play on, though the strings do sit over professional backing tracks, which fills out the sound so a small line-up carries a big room. The music is played from memory too, so there are no stands and no sheet music between the players and your guests. It looks as good as it sounds, which matters when the musicians are part of the photographs.
The musicians turn up with everything they need, including the speaker that carries the backing tracks. So there's no gear list to work through with your venue and nothing to hire in on your side.
