French songs from the early decades of last century are the whole repertoire. Cest Si Bon are a Wangaratta jazz band whose sets move through La Vie en Rose, Autumn Leaves, Besame Mucho, Non Je ne regrette rien and dozens more in that vein, played with a distinctly European sound. It suits daytime events best: markets, wineries, community celebrations and boutique festivals, anywhere people want atmosphere rather than volume. Set lengths flex to fit the day, and each performance is prepared fresh for the event it's booked for. They need power, three armless chairs and a space of about six metres by two.

Good to know
What to expect
The atmosphere lands as soon as they start, and it's unmistakably French, drawn from the early decades of last century. That's the point of booking them. A market, a winery or a community celebration takes on a different character with this music running underneath it.
On the day
Three chairs, and they need to be armless, because arms get in the way of the instruments. Beyond that it's power outlets and a performance space of roughly six metres by two. Nothing elaborate, which is part of why this suits a market stall setting or a winery lawn as readily as a hall.
Set List
Four sets' worth of French repertoire, mostly from the first half of last century. The first bracket takes in La Marseillaise, C'est Magnifique, Les Champs-Elysees, La Mer, Histoire d'un Amour, Pigalle, Perfidia and Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien. The second moves through Petite Fleur and Milord, then Porque Te Vas, Dark Eyes and Autumn Leaves, finishing on I Love Paris, La Vie en Rose and the song they take their name from, C'est Si Bon. Later on come Sous le Ciel de Paris, Sous les Ponts de Paris, Padam Padam, Allez-Vous-En, Menilmontant, Besame Mucho, J'attendrai and Je T'appartiens, then Jardin d'Hiver, Les Yeux Ouverts, Ca C'est l'Amour, Que Reste-t-il de Nos Amours and Night and Day.
