Charming Sons came out of a last-minute fill-in gig at Melbourne's Village Belle Hotel six years ago, where the chemistry was immediate enough that they kept going. Michael Stangel is a platinum songwriter and producer whose credits include Shannon Noll, The Veronicas and Human Nature, and he was a finalist on The Voice Australia in 2013 with Team Joel Madden. Steven "Venom" Brown is one of the country's most respected session drummers, with hundreds of recordings behind him and stage time with Electric Mary, Spy vs Spy, Nick Barker, Doug Parkinson and Doc Nelson from The Angels. Together it's raw riffs, driving rhythm and choruses a full room can shout back. They supply their own production and lights. You supply 240 volts. Public liability cover is current.
