Classic rock is the home ground for this Brisbane five piece, but the range is wider than that suggests. Eagles, The Angels, The Beatles, AC/DC, Australian Crawl, Billy Idol, 60s through to now. Brad sings lead, Alan plays lead guitar, Matt covers sax, guitar and keys, Saul is on bass and Steve on drums, and everyone sings. They also build themed shows on request: an all Oz rock night, a 4 Nations set with Australian, New Zealand, US and UK rock, or a list you pick yourself. The band brings its own PA and lighting, needs about 5m by 3m and a single power point, and can add a dedicated sound engineer for bigger rooms. Fully insured for public liability.

What to expect
Classic rock is home base, but the range runs wider than that label suggests. Eagles, The Angels, The Beatles, AC/DC, sixties through to now, with rock, blues, country and pop all turning up. Aussie pub rock from the seventies, eighties and nineties is where they're most at home. Three of the five sing lead, which is what stops a long night sounding samey: Brad carries most of it with a James Reyne sort of voice, Matt takes the deeper songs, Saul takes others. Alan plays lead guitar with a bluesy edge, Matt adds sax and keys, Steve is on drums. Three or four hours is typical, though the length is negotiable, and you can pick the songs yourself or leave it to them.
On the day
The band supplies the PA and the lighting, and needs 5m by 3m minimum to set it all up in. Power is genuinely simple: one standard outlet runs the whole rig, lights included. Outdoors, they have to be under cover, and they can bring gazebo covers if you arrange it beforehand. For bigger rooms they can put a dedicated sound engineer on the desk, which is worth doing when you need the volume down during dinner and up later on without anyone fiddling with it mid song.
