That's the whole rig, and Andrew Cowan makes more noise with it than the setup suggests, driving percussive rhythms under covers that run from The Beatles and Eagles through Cold Chisel, Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses, plus classics from the 60s onward. Midnight Oil, Crowded House, The Angels and Pearl Jam all turn up. The show suits pubs, parties and functions where people want to sing along. Quick setup takes half an hour, or an hour for the full version with backdrop, lighting and sound. Venues supply power, Cowy supplies everything else, and there's a media player input for music between sets. Duo and trio versions available. Covered by public liability insurance.

What to expect
Rock and pop classics, played on an acoustic guitar with a stomp box under them. The point is singing along, and Cowy picks songs off the radio that most rooms already know every word to. Energy is the currency here. It's a solo show that punches like something bigger, so the floor tends to fill earlier than people expect from one bloke with a guitar.
On the day
Half an hour covers the quick version: PA, speakers, cables and away. Give him an hour if you want the full rig with backdrop, lighting and the complete sound setup. Power is the only thing the venue supplies. Everything else, sound and lights included, arrives with him. There's a media player input if you want your own playlist running between sets, so plug in a phone and the room stays covered. Outdoors, the gear and the performance area both need proper weather protection.
