They play weddings, anniversaries, corporate and private functions around the Perth metro area, and travel out beyond it. The song list is built to hold a mixed room. Decibel play across enough decades that the grandparents and the twenty somethings both hear something they know, and the set keeps moving rather than parking in one era. It holds attention early in the night and gives people a reason to get up later. Nothing obscure, nothing that empties a floor.
Decibel don't run one rig for every job. PA and lighting get hired in to match the room and the size of the crowd, so a small anniversary function isn't lumbered with a system built for a big hall, and a big hall gets covered properly. That does mean the sound side is worked out with you rather than assumed, so tell them the venue and the guest number when you enquire. The band flexes between four and six pieces too, which changes how much floor space they'll need.
