Highway to Hell, TNT, Evie, Nutbush, Smoke on the Water. That's the territory Dirty Rats work in, four pieces of Melbourne pub rock playing 70s, 80s and 90s classics alongside their own material. The sound is hard and a bit raunchy, and they don't apologise for it. Up to three 45 minute sets, with the back line, PA and stage lighting all their own, so all a venue needs to supply is power and enough floor space for a four piece to spread out. Good fit for a pub, a party, or a function that wants guitars rather than a playlist.

Good to know
What to expect
Up to three sets of 45 minutes, mixing classic rock with their own material. The classics are the ones you'd hope for, played hard and without much polish, and the originals sit in the same territory rather than sticking out. Set lists shift depending on the night.
On the day
Everything comes with them, back line, PA and stage lighting included. What they need from you is power and enough floor for a four piece to set up and move. That's the lot.
Set List
Straight down the line pub rock. Highway to Hell, TNT, Let There Be Rock, Whole Lotta Rosie and You Shook Me All Night Long from AC/DC. Evie, Nutbush, Smoke on the Water, Paranoid, Enter Sandman, Johnny B. Goode, Roadhouse Blues, Tush, Wanted Dead or Alive, We Will Rock You, Tie Your Mother Down and You Really Got Me. The Australian side runs deep with Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again, Take a Long Line, No Secrets, Bad Boy for Love, Better, Darling It Hurts, Boys Light Up and Yesterday's Hero. Their own songs, Rat Rock, Rat Town, Lowlife, Poison, Jaded and The Juice among them, get worked into the same sets.
Performance options
One booking covers the lot: a classic rock show with the PA and lighting included. Travel outside a 50km radius of the CBD can be arranged, so distance isn't a barrier if you're further out.
