On the day
Room for five: drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and four vocal mic stands. Power needs to reach the guitar, bass and keyboard amps, so a single point in the far corner won't stretch. One thing to tell them when you enquire is whether the venue supplies a house PA, lighting and a sound person, or whether that's on the band. Either answer is fine. Discolicious carry a full PA and there's no extra charge for using it, so a room with nothing in it works just as well as one that's already kitted out.
What to expect
Five players, disco, and a set aimed squarely at the dance floor. The songs are the ones most of the room can sing without being asked to, which is the whole point of the format. Expect a night where the band works up rather than winding down, and where the back half leans on the hits people came hoping to hear.
