Old fashioned dancing is the promise, and there's something to be said for it. This is a professional service from the first message to the last song, run by someone who's put in plenty of Far North Queensland nights. Nobody in your room gets left out, which is the sort of thing that matters at a wedding where the guest list spans three generations. The music does the work and the fun follows.
Full access to power is essential, and it's worth allowing a decent window either side of the performance: roughly two hours to set up and about an hour to pack down. If your event is outdoors, the setup area needs to be fully covered or under a marquee. Marquee hire can be arranged where there's nothing suitable on site, as an added extra. Travel outside a 20 kilometre radius of Port Douglas can be arranged.
Everything from the 1960s right through to the current top 50, so the room doesn't get stuck in one decade. Requests are actively encouraged rather than tolerated, and the whole approach is playing what you want to hear instead of what the DJ feels like putting on. Say the word and it goes on.
Three sizes, matched to your guest numbers. The small option suits up to about 30 people and runs a JBL PRX ONE powered column PA with a Denon SC LIVE 4 console and a corded AKG microphone. The medium version covers 31 to 150 guests, doubling the PA columns, upgrading to a Shure cordless UHF microphone and adding an LED light show. The large option handles over 150, adding two Mackie SRM-450 active speakers on top of that. All three run four hours of performance, and extra time can be added by the hour.
