The act
Funk, bass, hip hop, breakbeat, house and drum and bass hit first, then the extra twist: beatboxing and live looping worked into the DJ set. For a wedding, that feels most at home when you want the dance floor to have a bit more personality than a straight playlist mix, especially later in the night. There’s MC work in the mix too, and the whole setup comes from someone who moved from collecting records into DJing, music production, beatboxing and looping as connected parts of the same performance. He’s based in WA, and the live angle is the detail that sticks because it turns a DJ set into something more hands-on and visibly made in the room.
