INXS, Icehouse, Hoodoo Gurus, The Clash, Dragon. That's the territory Eighties Recall works in, and the set list runs deep enough to keep going all night. This Noosa Heads quartet, fronted by Chris Reynolds on vocals, plays the decade's hits with a few tracks that don't strictly belong but were too good to cut. Reggae one minute, rock the next. It works for weddings, corporate functions, private parties and pubs across South East Queensland. Lights, PA and backdrops all come with the band. The venue supplies power, and nothing else.

What to expect
Four musicians, one decade, and a set list that goes a lot deeper than the obvious hits. Chris Reynolds fronts it on vocals, with David Shirtliff on lead guitar, Robbie Penman on drums and Brian Grose on bass. The material pulls from INXS, Mondo Rock, The Sunnyboys, The Angels, Australian Crawl, The Clash and Simple Minds, and it wanders from reggae into rock without much warning, which is what keeps a room of people from tuning out halfway through. A few tracks in the set aren't strictly from the decade at all. They stayed in because they work. Weddings, corporate nights and parties across South East Queensland are the usual run, and the dance floor filling up is the whole measure of the job.
On the day
Power is the only thing asked of the venue. Everything else arrives with the band, including the PA, the lights and the backdrops, so there's nothing for you to hire in or borrow from anyone else.
