Ally Maynard and Amber Timms sing together, and the harmonies are the whole point. Ember Ally work out of Adelaide, drawing on acoustic pop, folk and soul, with layered vocals sitting over rhythmic guitar and hand percussion. They've played wineries, festivals, markets and weddings, which is a decent spread of rooms to learn in. Cadence Timms now adds to the live sound as well. The songs are written from somewhere real, but there's a looseness to how they play them that stops it getting precious. Good fit for a ceremony, a long lunch, or an afternoon where you want the music to matter without taking over.
Watch Ember Ally perform and get a feel for their sound, style and fit for your wedding.
