They were great. I danced to their music and my boss was very impressed with the music. Thank you so much for being great to deal with. Please pass on my sincere appreciation for the great night with them there. Hope to deal with you again in the future. Day 2 of event to start. Kind Regards Thanks Shelley REVIEWS
Ewan Mackenzie
The act
Ewan Mackenzie has been playing his own blend of jazz and blues for years, and he's got the records to show for it. Turquoise came out in 1995 and A Patch of Blue in 2001, both award winners in Queensland. His last electric line-up recorded Alliance live at the Brisbane Jazz Club in 2014. The current band puts Ewan on guitar and vocals alongside Mick Thatcher on guitar, Miranda Deutsch on bass, Robin Walsh on drums and Chris Hartley on keys, and they're working up a fresh batch of original tunes with another record in mind.
