What a find ‘Feed the Cats’ have been for us at Dogs Bar. They're now regulars here, usually the Sunday arvo spot. They pack the place out and the whole room is jumping along to their funky and swinging jazz. Magnificent band. Thanks Gavan and Sonya REVIEWS
Feed The Cats
The act
Feed The Cats first formed in 1987, put together by Paul Dawber and Shane Ryall, and from 1987 to 1990 they were doing six gigs a week of jazz, swing and blues around Melbourne. Thirty years on, a reunion at The Dogs Bar in St Kilda went well enough that they simply carried on, and the band now plays there regularly. Paul Dawber fronts it on vocals and congas, with Shane Ryall on guitar, Steve Murphy on saxophone, Chris Skepper on trumpet, Peter Buelke on double bass and Tom McEwan on drums and vocals. Available for weddings, private functions, corporate events and venue bookings.
