I wanted to say thank you, both to you, and Louise and the Fifth Avenue team for everything on Friday. Our guys might have taken a little while to warm up, but they had a great night! Thank you again! Kind regards Thanks Carly REVIEWS
Fifth Avenue
The act
Fifth Avenue treat a wedding as a full day of music, not just the dance sets. The Brisbane group can play the ceremony live, send an acoustic duo through canapes, then bring out the band, anywhere from a duo or trio up to a six piece with sax, most often a five piece playing four 45 minute sets into the night. Between sets your own playlist can run through their PA, and their singer also offers a personalised DJ service with mood lighting and a wireless microphone for speeches. They'll keep things sweet for the special moments and push the dance floor hard the rest of the time. One client thanked the whole team, noting her guests took a while to warm up but ended up having a great night.

Clients who booked Fifth Avenue
Good to know
What to expect
Fifth Avenue treat a wedding as a whole day of music rather than a couple of dance sets at the end. They can play your ceremony live, then send an acoustic duo out while guests arrive and canapes go around, then bring the full band on later. Everything gets talked through with you first, so the songs that matter to you are the songs that get played. And between sets they'll run a pre-recorded playlist through their PA, yours or theirs, so the room never goes quiet.
On the day
Most people book the five piece for four 45 minute sets, which typically runs from around eight until midnight. For that you'll want a decent stage or floor area close to the dance floor, big enough for five musicians and their gear, with power points servicing that part of the room.
Performance options
Most people end up booking the five piece, and it covers functions within about 50km of the Brisbane CBD. Smaller line-ups are available if you want something more contained, and at the other end they can put together a big band arrangement. There's also an acoustic duo for the ceremony and canapes stretch, and their singer offers a DJ service with mood lighting and a wireless microphone for speeches, so the speeches don't get lost.
