Florence Lang sings and plays U-bass, and was previously part of the ABIA award winning L'amour Vocal Ensemble. Gene Phoa sings, plays acoustic guitar and percussion, and writes his own material. Together they make a fuller sound than two people usually manage, held together by male and female harmonies. The songs run from Elvis and Ray Charles to Ed Sheeran, The Lumineers and Of Monsters And Men, along with one of their own, The Sweetest Smile. Ceremonies, corporate functions and private events are the usual bookings. They can plug into a house PA on arrival, or bring their own Yamaha speakers and Allen and Heath mixer given setup time and venue access.

Good to know
What to expect
Two voices that lock together properly, male and female harmony doing the heavy lifting, and enough going on underneath that it doesn't sound like two people with a guitar. The songs are timeless ballads given a fresh reading, running from Elvis through to Ed Sheeran. It's the kind of sound that fills a ceremony or a dinner without demanding the room's full attention.
On the day
If you've got a PA at the venue, they'll plug in and play on arrival, which is the simplest version. If you haven't, they carry their own: Yamaha DBR 12 inch powered speakers, an Allen and Heath ZED-10FX mixer, and a Roland Cube Street EX as a portable option. Going that route, they just need setup time and access to the venue beforehand.
