The act
Stand up, MC work, or both across the one night. Gareth McKean runs anything from fifteen minutes through to an hour plus, and if you need a support act as well he can arrange one. His Donald Trump impersonation is part of the kit. Before the event he'll talk with whoever is running it and work real details from the room into the material, which is the difference between a set that could be anywhere and one that lands. He can bring lighting and PA if you need it. All that's asked is a stage or a sensible spot to stand. Perth based.

Good to know
What to expect
Gareth McKean will get in touch with whoever's running your event well before the day, and he'll keep checking in until the details are settled. That's not admin for the sake of it. He mines those conversations for specifics about the room, the company or the occasion and works them into the set, so the jokes land on people who know exactly what he's talking about. It's the difference between a comedy set that could be performed anywhere and one built for the night you're actually having.
On the day
A stage, or failing that a sensible spot for him to stand where the whole room can see him, and that's what's needed from your end. If the venue has no PA or the lighting is hopeless, Gareth can bring both himself. Worth flagging when you enquire so he knows what to load into the car.
Performance options
Stand up comedy is the core of it, running anywhere from a tight fifteen minutes to an hour and beyond. MC work is the other half, and plenty of nights use both, with Gareth holding the room together between segments then doing a proper set later on. His Donald Trump impersonation can feature. And if one comic won't fill the bill, he can bring in a support act to open.
