The act
Banjo out of American folk, harmonica with a country edge, Irish waltz rhythms, Celtic-leaning vocals. Georgia Scarlett pulls all of it into Aussie roots music, and the sets are chosen by what suits the moment rather than which covers get played at every function. She started out busking, has since put out a first album, taken festival slots, headlined her own shows, and played public and private events across Queensland. Book her solo and acoustic, or with her four-piece band. She also works as an MC, a radio host and a speaker on the arts and social media. Power is preferred, though battery-powered gear can be supplied. Public and products liability insurance held.

Good to know
What to expect
Georgia Scarlett chooses songs by what the moment needs, not by which covers everyone plays at every function. Folk, country, acoustic pop, Celtic and indie rock all feed into it, with her own writing sitting alongside the covers. Storytelling holds the sets together, and the shape of a performance shifts with the room and the people in it. Book it as a solo acoustic set, or bring the full four piece band if the room can take it.
On the day
Power is the preference and makes life simpler. Where your space doesn't have it, Georgia can bring battery powered equipment instead, so an outdoor spot with no outlet nearby still works.
