On the day
A metre and a half square is enough room for the speakers and instruments, and Gerda would rather that patch sat near a power point than run cable across the floor. Outdoors is fine in the open, though wet weather needs something over the top, and a hot day needs shade if the sun is doing real damage. Mild conditions, no cover required.
