Green Velvet build their sound from guitar, vocals, percussion and a stomp box, adding backing tracks where a gig wants something closer to a full band. The Gold Coast duo keep several setlists ready, so you can pick your own songs from the list or just describe the mood and let them work it out. Their range runs from background music through to the singalong end of things, with 500 Miles, 9 to 5, Ain't Nobody, At Last, Back To Black and Better Be Home Soon all in the book. Between sets they run Spotify mixes so the room never goes quiet. They bring their own PA and can hand the microphone over for speeches. They'll want an hour to set up and soundcheck, access to power, and somewhere to park. Public liability insurance is in place.

Good to know
What to expect
Guitar, vocals, percussion and a stomp box, with backing tracks layered in when a room wants something bigger. Singalong covers are the specialty. Early on it sits back as easy-listening background, then it climbs until people are up. You've got two ways to steer it: pick songs off their list yourself, or just tell them the feel you're after and let them sort the running order. The gaps between sets get filled with recorded music so the room never falls flat. Their PA and lights come with them, and the microphone is yours if there are speeches.
On the day
They'll want an hour on site before guests arrive, to set up and get the sound right. Power for the PA, and somewhere to park. If anything about the venue is awkward, tell them early: gear coming in off a side street, no parking nearby, tag and test paperwork required. None of it is a problem when they know in advance.
Performance options
You can put this together as you need it. A chat beforehand to work through the day, then PA and lighting supplied, with the microphone available for speeches and MC announcements. Sets can be spread out around dinner and formalities rather than run back to back. Background music of your choosing plays between them. Special requests get learned where there's time, and for weddings that includes the entrance song, the first dance and whatever plays as everyone leaves. Getting there, setting up and sound checking are all covered.
