The act
Rock and roll is the base, but HIGH TIDE pull from funk, indie, blues and roots and grunge, and they like stripping a good song back to its acoustic bones. The songs run from the 80s and 90s through the 2000s to whatever is climbing the Hottest 100. Rab Wylie sings and plays guitar, Lock-T is on drums and backing vocals, Andy Wylie plays bass, and each has more than twenty years of live playing behind him. Book them as a trio or a duo, or just Rab on his own for a smaller room. The song list runs from Cold Chisel and Hunters and Collectors to Foo Fighters, Paul Kelly and Amy Winehouse. Sets run three lots of 45 minutes.

Good to know
What to expect
Rock and roll sits underneath everything, but HIGH TIDE reach into funk, indie, blues, roots and grunge, and they're happy to strip a big song back to its acoustic bones. The songs span the 80s and 90s, the 2000s and whatever is climbing the Hottest 100 right now. Rab Wylie sings and plays guitar, Lock-T is on drums and backing vocals, and Andy Wylie plays bass, each with more than twenty years of live playing behind him. Expect Cold Chisel and Hunters and Collectors next to Foo Fighters, Paul Kelly and Amy Winehouse.
On the day
An undercover, powered performance area is what they need, and that's genuinely it. The rest of their list is a joke about green M&Ms blessed by a Tibetan monk, so consider yourself warned about the sense of humour before you book them.
Performance options
Three shapes, and all of them run three sets of 45 minutes. The full trio is the loudest option, with drums driving it. The duo pulls the volume back for rooms where a full kit would be too much. And Rab on his own suits a smaller space or an earlier part of the day. Let them know the room and the running time and they'll tell you which one makes sense.
