The act
Townsville-based comedian working Cairns down to the southern regions and along the east coast to Sydney. Two-time RAW Comedy state finalist and an Australian Survivor castaway, with shared bills alongside Mel Buttle, Jacques Barrett, Al Del Bene and Luke Heggie, and gigs at Tokyo Comedy Bar, Sit Down Comedy Club, Good Chat, Crack Up Comedy, Brown Snake Comedy and ID Comedy Club. The work runs from a spot of extra entertainment at a corporate event through to producing a whole show, plus MC duties. Sets get tailored to the room, family friendly or right off the leash, so a conversation about your audience beforehand pays off. Decent lighting and sound matter more than people expect. House PAs often aren't up to it, and keeping the focus on the stage is half the battle.

What to expect
Laughter, and Indy C is unapologetic about that being the entire point. The aim is to put humour into places that don't have much of it, and to keep going past the polite giggle into proper laughing out loud. Sets get shaped to your room, so tell her who's in it. Family friendly for the work Christmas party where partners and kids are coming, or completely off the leash for a crowd that can take it. She'll also MC, or produce a whole show if that's what your night needs rather than a single spot.
On the day
Comedy lives or dies on sound and light. Indy C is direct about it: a house PA is often not up to the job, because a room full of talking people swallows a voice that a music system handles fine. Lighting matters just as much. If the stage is lit and the rest of the room isn't, attention goes where it should and stays there. Sort those two things and the booking looks after itself. Talk to her about your venue before you assume the in-house rig will do.
