What to expect
Eighties and nineties RnB, funk, soul and Motown, with a bit of reggae running through it. INTO GROOVE go for the grooves rather than the ballads, so what you get is a room that keeps moving. Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, Jamiroquai, and on into Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars. Full band, real vocalists, and enough catalogue behind them that a three hour night doesn't start repeating itself.
On the day
Allow INTO GROOVE two hours before the music starts. That's load in, setting up and a proper sound check, and with a full band and vocalists it's not a figure worth trimming. Afterwards they need about an hour to pack the gear out. Check those windows against your venue's access times before you book, because tight curfews at either end are the thing that causes trouble on the day.
