Isaac Frankham reads a room before he reads a setlist. Working out of Ballina, he covers everything from chilled background numbers to full dance floor material, solo, as a duo, or with the band. What to expect
Isaac plays what the room in front of him wants, not what he had planned in the car. His repertoire is deep enough to make that possible, and years of gigs have taught him when to read it right. Chilled numbers early, dance floor material once people are ready. That's the usual shape, though it isn't a rule. He's straightforward to deal with too, before the night and on it, which venues and couples both notice.
On the day
Two things from you: 240v power, and somewhere to play that's got a roof over it. The PA gear all comes with him, so there's nothing to hire in.
Performance options
The basic version is a three piece playing three 45 minute sets, which can be spread across four hours if your night runs long. Add a keys player and it fills out a lot, and Isaac reckons it's worth it. A drums and guitar duo has its own sound and gets a dance floor going. A solo and DJ night keeps things relaxed early then lifts once people want to move. Solo for the whole evening works too, with the song choices doing the heavy lifting. Or combine them: a solo canapes and dinner set, then the band later. Professional audio comes as standard, and there's a microphone available for speeches.
