The act
Thirty-eight years of working gigs, mostly with a guitar and a voice, and at least two shows most weekends. Jason Hill sings lead and plays out of Dubbo, usually solo, but the booking can grow into a duo, a trio or a full rock band. He fronts The Hangovers, a Central Coast pub rock covers band that travels all over New South Wales, and the Orange-based trio The Darcy Revival, who play a lot of wineries alongside the usual club and pub circuit. He's also the singer in Bon Jovi tribute act Bad Medicine, and can do Jon Bon Jovi's voice properly. Mainstream rock and top 40 from the 70s to now, easy listening acoustic through to a full rock show. A roof, a power point and a cold drink is about the whole rider.

Good to know
What to expect
Thirty-eight years of gigs sit behind what Jason Hill does on stage, and it's mostly mainstream rock and top 40 from the 70s through to now. Songs people know, played by someone who's played them a thousand times and still gets the room going. He plays at least two shows most weekends out of Dubbo, so the material is match-fit rather than rehearsed. Book him solo for something easier on the ears, or scale up to a duo, trio or full rock band if the night calls for volume.
On the day
Jason Hill keeps the list short: a roof over his head, a power point, and a cold drink. That's the rider. Outdoors is fine as long as there's cover over the performance spot, since the gear can't sit in weather. Beyond that it depends on the size of the booking. An easy listening acoustic show wants less room than a full rock show, so tell him which one you're after and roughly how big the space is when you enquire.
