Jazz N Jive
The act
Songs in Spanish, French and Russian sit alongside the usual covers, which is not something you get from most Brisbane function bands. Jazz n Jive builds from a solo female singer and guitarist all the way up to a six piece with percussion, bass, keys and a woodwind player on trumpet, clarinet or saxophone. For weddings they set up and sound check before guests arrive, handle background music through the breaks, and provide the PA and microphone for speeches. They'll also learn one special song that isn't on the regular list, and talk the music run sheet through with you beforehand. Cocktail functions, birthdays, corporate events and venue nights all suit.
