Jess is a soul vocalist who works well beyond Sydney, taking destination weddings across Australia and New Zealand, Indonesia and Europe. Jazz and blues came first and you can still hear it, alongside the influence of Lauryn Hill, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston and Nat King Cole. The 90s brought R&B and hip hop into the mix, with Aaliyah, 2Pac, Donnell Jones and Mase landing hard. The result is soft, soulful melody sitting over heavier beats. Jess usually performs as a duo with a pianist or guitarist for cocktail functions and corporate occasions, and can scale up to a full band when the event needs it.
