He started gigging as a teenager and hasn't really stopped: over 15 years of live shows up and down the east coast, through solo sets, duos, bands and tribute shows. Jesse Fildes covers the classics faithfully on acoustic guitar with a stomp box and looper, and when the night needs lifting he switches to electric with professional backing tracks and it turns into a party. The Beatles, Creedence, INXS, ABBA, Guns N' Roses, then Foo Fighters, Cold Chisel, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd further down the list. He's a regular around Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast, and he founded the 90s and 00s rock tribute show All Access, which is also available for private events. Lighting, break music and a microphone for speeches come included. Public liability insurance, plus first aid and CPR training.

Good to know
What to expect
Jesse reads what the night needs and moves with it. Quiet acoustic guitar early, stomp box and looper when the room warms up, then the electric comes out with backing tracks and people get up. Song choice spans The Beatles and Creedence through to Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5, so nobody's left out. He'll talk through the running order with you beforehand, work out when each block of music should land, and hand over a microphone for the speeches. And where it suits, the gear goes in before guests arrive, so the first thing anyone sees isn't a bloke taping down leads.
On the day
Outdoors, he'll need a shelter he can play under and a safe way to get to a power point. Rain has to have somewhere to go too, so keep a wet weather spot in the back of your mind when you pick the location. Everything else travels with him. Lighting, music between sets, and a microphone you can borrow for speeches or a toast.
Performance options
How much of the wedding day you want music for decides which package fits. Reception only is the simple one. Ceremony with canapes afterwards suits a shorter afternoon. Canapes into the reception picks the night up instead. Or the lot, ceremony through canapes through reception, so there's live music from the aisle to the last dance. Tell him which part of the day worries you most and he'll tell you what fits.
