Before Albury, there was London's West End. Jonno played the lead in the original production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, and in Four Steps To Heaven, and he's worked as a professional musician since 1990 across stage, screen and television. His rule now is that everything is live: no backing tracks, no loop stations. Instead he builds a full band sound out of stomp-box drums, guitar synthesiser, harmoniser and a lot of good gear. The repertoire runs past 200 songs, from Stealers Wheel and Crowded House to Paul Kelly, Daddy Cool, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Oasis and Neil Diamond. He needs about three metres by two, a power point, and shade or shelter depending on the season.

What to expect
Every note is live on the night. No backing tracks, no loop stations, which is unusual for a solo performer and it's a deliberate choice. Instead Jonno builds a full band sound out of stomp box drums, guitar synthesiser and a harmoniser, through good gear. He's been a professional musician since 1990 across stage, screen and television, and before Albury he played the lead in the original West End production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. The set list runs past 200 songs and gets shaped around your venue and what you want. He likes talking to an audience, and that comes through.
On the day
Three metres by two is the minimum space, with a power point near it. Outdoors, think about the time of year: shade in summer, something that keeps the weather and the cold off in winter. Get those two things right and he'll fit into almost any room or backyard.
