The act
Fifteen years of DJ and MC work out of Launceston, covering country, pub rock and pop from the 70s through to the 2010s. Weddings, rodeos, pub nights, community events and private parties. There's no house setlist. The music gets built with the customer, then played to the room. Full DMX custom light shows are available for the bigger nights, and the largest package includes PA support for live bands, not just the DJ rig. If you want a party somewhere remote, that's the specialty rather than the obstacle. Sets run from four hours upward. Power and shelter are what's needed on site.

Good to know
What to expect
Fifteen years behind the decks, and no house playlist. The music gets built with you first, then played to whoever actually turns up on the night. He MCs as well as DJs, so speeches and the run of the evening are covered by the same person. Full DMX light shows are on the table for the bigger nights, with lasers, moving heads and haze if the venue allows it. Remote is the specialty rather than the problem, so if the party's a long way from anywhere, that's the sort of job he already does regularly.
Performance options
Three sizes, scaled to the room. The smallest suits about 70 guests with a basic lighting rig and a wireless mic, the middle one covers roughly 150 with fuller sound and DMX lighting built in, and for anything bigger the PA and lighting get specified to the venue. There's also a compact ceremony setup running on battery, which is handy where there's no power. Every option includes the MC work, planning the music beforehand, run sheet support, and setup and pack down at both ends. Extra lighting can go on top of any of them. Country, pub rock and pop from the 70s through the 2010s is the home territory.
