The act
A powerful, raspy voice built for jazz, blues, R&B, pop and rock. The Karen Linker Trio is fronted by a vocalist who came out of Melbourne, now performs weekly in Hong Kong and works internationally, and still travels back for private functions, corporate nights and weddings here. Tina Turner and Adele tribute shows are part of the repertoire, which is a big one. The line-up can arrive as the regular band or be assembled from Australian musician colleagues, so a Melbourne booking doesn't mean flying in a whole ensemble. Cover work spans the 60s through the 90s, with funk and dance material for rooms that want to move.
