The act
Keff McCulloch has been a working musician for more than thirty five years, touring internationally with bands and writing for screen along the way, including music for the BBC's Doctor Who and the film White Mischief. These days he sings and plays guitar over backing tracks he builds himself, so a single performer fills a room the way a band would. The repertoire is genuinely enormous, around 2,000 songs stretching from the 1910s to now, which is what happens when you play for young party crowds one week and high care and dementia residents the next. Jazz, Latin, reggae, rock, easy listening, pop. Everything but classical, really. He'll also do it stripped back to just voice and guitar. Fully self contained with PA and lights.

Keff McCulloch sings and plays guitar over backing tracks he builds himself, arrangement by arrangement, so the accompaniment is properly matched to his voice rather than bought off a shelf. If you'd rather strip it right back, he'll do vocal and guitar with nothing underneath, which suits a smaller room or a quieter part of the day. Both versions come from the same enormous repertoire, so the choice is about texture rather than what he can play.
On the day
Keff McCulloch is fully self contained. PA, lighting, the lot, all of it carried in and set up by him. Your venue supplies the room and the power, and he handles everything from there. Worth flagging where the power point sits when you enquire, along with roughly how big the space is, so he knows what to bring on the day.
