She's won the Australian Wedding Awards National Live Entertainment category and the ABIA Queensland Wedding Instrumentalist award. Lauren works out with you where the music sits across the day, which moments need it and which are better left quiet, and plays to that. Setting up takes between fifteen minutes and an hour depending on how big the event is, sound check included, and it all happens before your guests arrive. Worth knowing: none of that comes out of your booked hours. Pack down sits outside them too. So the time you're paying for is time she's playing, which is not how every act does it.
For a wedding ceremony she can cover the lot: guests arriving, the bridal entrance, the signing, the exit, then the mingling and canapes afterwards. Receptions work the same way, with music through the guest and bridal party entrances, between meals, under the formalities and speeches, the cake and the first dance. Corporate functions are a regular booking. So are birthdays, engagements, parties and proposals.
