Award winning cabaret performer, comedian, journalist, and a high school teacher before all that, which is a useful set of skills for keeping a run sheet honest and an audience awake. Libby keeps an event running to time, and does it warmly enough that nobody feels managed. She's funny, she's easy with a crowd, and she'll hold your run sheet together while your guests think they're just having a good night. Award winning too, with the Spirit of the Fringe award in 2025, the Women in Innovation Arts award in 2023, SA Woman of the Year Allrounder in 2021 and a Best Cabaret win at the Adelaide Fringe. A good MC is the difference between an event that flows and one that stalls.
On the day
Genuinely just a microphone and an audience. If the venue has no sound, she can bring her own PA instead, so a room with nothing in it isn't a problem. Worth mentioning which situation you're in when you enquire so she knows whether to load the gear.
