Lounge Cats met as a jazz combo at the Brisbane Conservatorium, worked out their sound there, then drifted towards more popular material. They have played together since 2012 across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast. The folk-leaning result has been described as fun, energetic and endearing, and behind it sits a well-tested repertoire covering everything from modern pop to older classics. Weddings, cocktail functions, corporate events, birthday parties and venue nights all sit within their range.
