Mackenzie Lee is a singer-songwriter and guitarist out of the Hunter Valley, and the influence is unmistakably American country from the eighties and nineties. Forty years of country, country rock and blues turn up across her sets: Boot Scoot Boogie, Tennessee Whiskey, Heart Like A Truck, Coal Miner's Daughter, Mercury Blues, Something In The Orange, Flame Trees, Take It Easy, and her own song Let My Love Drown. No frills, boots and a cap, and a genuine love of the genre behind it. She travels regularly through the Hunter Valley, Upper Hunter and Northwest regions, and brings all her own sound gear. All she needs is power.
