The act
Marcio Freitas is a Brazilian singer and guitarist based in Adelaide who builds his songs live in front of the room. Live looping means each arrangement gets constructed in real time, layer by layer, so the audience watches the thing come together instead of just hearing a finished version. The material leans pop, rock and country covers, with Latin, funk and R&B threaded through. A solo show can sound considerably bigger than one person, and a duo version is available for a ceremony or a cocktail hour. He supplies all sound and lighting himself. You supply power to the setup area. Setlists are shaped to the event on request.

Good to know
On the day
All the sound and lighting production comes with him, so there's no PA to organise at your end and nothing extra to hire in. What he needs from your venue is power running to the area he's setting up in. Have a think about where that is when you're planning the room, because the setup spot decides where the sound and the lights end up pointing.
Performance options
Solo is the main offering, and a duo version is there if you want something fuller for a ceremony or a cocktail hour. Either way the performance gets shaped around what you're running on the day, so tell him what the schedule looks like and what you want the room doing at each point.
