The act
MC Connect runs Connect or Die Music out of Sydney, a label with a spread of artists across several genres, and a booking can be built out of any of them. He performs, and the roster can join him: Deluxe, a sharp and positive lyricist with a deep hip hop catalogue; Raddie, a UK rapper and a genuine frontman on stage; Sr. Malakai, whose Afrobeats, RnB and soul comes with real charisma; and Light from a Stranger, a duo with Jyder playing original hip hop and rock. Tell them what the night needs, whether that's crowd connection, music that gets people moving, or hip hop lyricism setting a mood. Sets are original material, with DJ music between them if you want it. Sound, lighting and front of house can be provided.

What the show runs on: a PA and mixer, microphones, lighting, and a front of house mixer. If your venue doesn't have that gear sitting there, they can bring sound, lighting and the front of house mixer themselves. So the answer depends entirely on what's already in the room, and it's worth checking with your venue before you enquire.
