The act
Mystic Blue play acoustic when the room wants intimate, and switch to full backing tracks when it wants a band. Three shapes are on offer: vocalist with acoustic guitar, vocalist with piano, or all three together as a trio. It's a straightforward setup that suits weddings, cocktail parties, birthdays and corporate events around Brisbane, and the flexibility means you can have quiet music over dinner and something with more push afterwards without booking two acts.

They were super great, but, I felt a bit bad for them, as the speeches went for soooooooooo long, that they really only got to play a few songs after dinner and then they had to pack up…….(but we all enjoyed them over dinner). I’m sure they didn’t mind sitting around in an amazing venue, with some great food…….just a shame they didn’t have the time to play more at the end, but, we couldn’t shut people up. Thank you so much and speak to you next year if not before.

They were professional and easy to work with and I thought their music and energy was well-suited to the event. I chatted with them after about what a bummer it was that people couldn't dance, but they said guests were still engaged and dancing in their seats. Would happily work with them again.
